Meet Senna! This sassy girl is a very special, very loved little one. She came into the Rescue at 4mths old and was feral, emaciated and flea infested. She turned around quickly and became a friendly happy kitten that just needed time to get healthy. She can be bossy with other animals and gets a little more so when she's not feeling herself.

Senna is a sweet cat that needs a very special home. She has a couple of physical differences that make her unique and give her the quirky personality and looks that she has. Her spine is a little like a rollercoaster which restricts her jumping ability and also how much space her lungs/heart have within her rib cage. She still runs and plays with no issues but she can't have cats or other animals jumping on her back or wrestling with her. Senna also has a partly calcified larynx, which causes it to stay open just slightly all the time. It doesn't really affect her other than she has the cutest croaky meow.

Multiple vets have seen Senna and nothing can be done to correct her issues. She loves life and is happy. The vets don't see why she couldn't live a long happy healthy life just as she is. She does need a Solensia shot every 6-8wks to help her with some pain that we know she has started feeling in her back. She may eventually need it every 4wks but for now the schedule we're on has done wonders for her. Solensia is approx $100 each time so that is an expense that needs to be kept in mind and this is the only medication that has worked well without causing side effects.

Despite Sennas physical challenges she is a cuddly, sweet, playful girl who will try to nurse on your neck given the chance. She will cuddle up with you at night, even under the blankets. She scrunchies up her whole face when she meows which along her croaky meow makes her ridiculously adorable! Senna has been a wonderful cat to foster and she is loved dearly but she deserves a family to call her own, one who will love her with all her quirky ways and challenges.
