Mouse came to us (her foster) as a very pregnant 11 month old who was going to be released into the woods because the people who had her were moving. Since the day she came to us she has been incredibly sweet and affectionate depite the fact she had been neglected and living outside most of her life. She takes a while to warm up to other cats but it is possible for her to adapt. She gets along with most of the others in the household, but it has taken time. She would probably be ok with a very calm dog, one that doesn't show any interest in her but would let her initiate the friendship, as she's been doing well with 70 pound old soul at home. It's her a while but she is finally seeing a lap as a safe and comfy place to be and will even let you pick her up. She's always loved attention and will nuzzle your face if you put yourself close to hers. She rotates nights between sleeping in a cozy hammock on a cat tree, snuggled in a bed beside my pillow or curled up under my blankets. She prefers moving water, I have found that she will neglect water unless it is from a fountain. It's very important that she's given access to that. Mouse loves playing! Anything with feathers is her go to. She loves wands, crinkly toys and laser pointer.
