She is the perfect balance of playful and calm. She loves a good round of fetch but is also content snuggling up with her humans. She is fully potty trained with zero accidents in her foster home. She sleeps through the night whether in a crate or on her bed. She has mastered sit, is quickly understanding stay and currently working on down and heel. She is a quick learner when treats are involved!
Eve has been great with children, both young and old, and has been wonderful with any dogs she’s been introduced to.
Eve loves her daily walks and enjoys to stop and smell the roses. She can be a puller at times though we are practising heeling and loose leash exercises. Periodically she can be leash reactive (barking/pulling), eager to meet other dogs but once introduced, calms and just wants to say hi or play. She has never shown any signs of aggression.
Eve does experience separation anxiety when left home alone and will bark until your return. We are working on her gaining comfort in these situations by increasing the length of time she is left alone. We also use a camera to monitor and a quick ‘no barking’ or ‘quiet’ usually settles her for a while. Lick matts and Kongs have been helpful too.
She would do best with a family who is home often, patient and willing to put in the time and dedication to training her to be the best version of herself.
Overall, Eve is a big ball of love who enjoys long walks, playing fetch and being by her humans. She will steal a piece of your heart and be forever grateful for your love and affection.
