Adoption Fee: $300Mr. Merv was the sweetest cat right away. He was a bit nervous with loud noises especially when it was our golden retriever causing the noise, but Mervin quickly adjusted to living with us and our dog. We've seen a little more of his personality and quirks every single day as he gets more comfortable. He looooves food, and thinks he needs to wake up his human by eating their hair to show how hungry he is. He also is obsessed with pets and getting brushed; he'll even roll over for belly rubs. He gets zoomies multiple times a day, and wants lots of little toys to bat around.
Mervin is not much of a cuddle bug yet, but we think he'll grow to become one once he is with someone for long enough! He would do best as the only cat in the house. There is a chance he could get used to living with another non-dominant cat, but it's doubtful he'd want to be their friend. He gets along great with dogs as long as they don't chase him or bark at him. He needs someone who is willing to help him stay on a diet, and monitor his weight. He's good at pretending he's being starved, and getting into drawers if he knows his food is in there. We think he'd be good with kids since she's such a sweetheart but he has not been tested.
